New Museum Update!
Things are happening! The expansion of the Grinnell Historical Museum into the 703 First Avenue site is moving along. We are very busy preparing the interior of the building. A new furnace is being installed. Frank Shults and a small team is busy framing interior walls. Solar panels have been installed and are fully functional. Other finished renovations include updated plumbing, updated flooring, installation of a new roof, old insulation has been removed and the ceiling has been painted.
Soon you’ll see work happening outside the building: panels repaired and painted, handicap access ramp and new windows. Check back here for future updates, and click here to donate! New funds are needed for storage equipment and furniture.
Special Thanks to Local Businessess Supporting Campaign 703 as of March 28th!
